Hi,

My name is Deirdre Harrison (Coach D) and for a long time I struggled to develop an exercise routine and self care habits. I used to join a gym and be super dedicated for a while and then somehow fall off the wagon and get into a rut of not exercising. These stop and go fitness attempts went on for about ten years until I got really fed up and trained myself to run a marathon. I actually ran several marathons, learned how to properly lift weights, eat healthier and harness the power of mindfulness.


With consistent exercise no longer an issue, I'm a healthier, happier person. One thing I've learned through my journey is to just keep moving in the right direction. My long fitness journey got me to where I am today because little by little I took steps in the right direction.

I can truly relate to clients that come to me struggling to exercise regularly or not knowing what to do at all. I've been there and understand the frustration of riding the endless roller coaster. My passion is showing clients the great things waiting for you once you step off that ride.

One of the most impactful ways I’m doing this is by running Coach D’s Fitcamp where people all over the country gather twice a week and together engage in life changing fitness.

I teach in a way that works for all levels. I provide the roadmap and you control the workout intensity. Whether you’re new to exercise or a seasoned athlete, I’m eager to show you just how fun it can be!

Here’s what you can expect:

  • A different theme for every month means you won’t get bored and will have the opportunity to focus on improving functional fitness in a variety of ways

  • Never miss a workout. After each session you’ll receive a workout summary email with your own private link to repeat that workout as many times as you like throughout the month.

 

FAQ’s

Am I fit enough to join?

You can be new to exercise or a seasoned athlete. I provide variations for each exercise and it’s up to you to choose which version feels like the best challenge. I provide the roadmap and you’re in control of your workout intensity.

Can I do this with my injury?

You should consult with your physician before starting a new exercise program. Chances are if you have an injury history you know which movements aren’t good for you. Be mindful of this when choosing exercise variations. If you’re still finding an exercise difficult, even with variation, please reach out to me. There will always be a way to help.

How do I join the sessions?

Make sure you have the Zoom app on your phone, tablet, or have Zoom downloaded onto your computer. The day prior to each session you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link along with the warmup question and any necessary equipment. A recording of the session will be emailed to you after the workout.

What equipment do I need?

The only required equipment is short loop resistance bands. Occasionally we’ll use a chair or household item such as a weight but you’ll always know ahead of time.

What changes can I expect to see in myself?

The most common changes people see from Fitcamp are strength gains, improved cardio, and increased energy. Whether it’s walking to the store or playing with your kids/grandkids, you’ll start to notice every day activities becoming easier.

What should I wear?

Wear breathable hot weather clothing (most of us keep our homes 5-10 degrees warmer than the typical gym). Sneakers are helpful and some people prefer cross trainers for increased stability during quicker movements. Always keep water nearby as hydration is key.
